BURLINGTON, ON (June, 2012) – Ivara Corporation, an industry leader and innovator in asset performance management solutions, and Asset Dynamics Asia (ADA), a leading provider of asset management consulting services in South East Asia, today announced that Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd (SLNG) has selected Ivara EXP Enterprise software to support their asset reliability improvement and integrity management project.
SLNG is a private company set up by the Singapore government to own and develop the country’s first LNG import terminal.. SLNG provides terminal services, storage and regasified LNG send-out (throughput services). The LNG supply represents about one-quarter of the quantity of gas currently being imported by gas pipelines into Singapore. This represents a significant long-term commitment by the power generation companies, and ensures a sizeable base-load of LNG throughput from the start of LNG terminal operations. The greenfield site goes live by the second quarter of 2013.
Ivara EXP Enterprise is being implemented at SLNG by Ivara Partner & Aladon Network member, Asset Dynamics Asia (ADA). ADA will implement EXP with a focus on Risk-Based Inspections and Inspection Data Management. ADA will lead SLNG through the asset strategy development process. EXP software will provide a repository for all asset integrity and reliability data, viewed in one central asset health dashboard. Inspection information will be captured through Ivara’s mobile applications as well as from SLNG’s process historians and DCS systems. Potential failures will be identified through automated alarms and will initiate work orders in the company’s EAM system, IBM Maximo. Ivara EXP has a certified integration to IBM Maximo®.
“We chose Ivara EXP after an exhaustive search process because ADA proved that Ivara was the best solution to meet SLNG’s needs,” said Peter Seow, Information Systems Manager.
“Ivara is pleased with its continuing success in the Oil and Gas industry and is thrilled to be working with and driving value for quality companies like SLNG,” said Paul Marshall, Chief Executive Officer, Ivara Corporation. “SLNG’s choice of Ivara EXP for their Terminal reinforces Ivara’s success and growth in asset integrity and asset performance management.
